I did not vote yesterday in the elections, that is because i did not register to vote when i first turned 18 and its just been slipping my mind to actually go register. also i didnt even feel politically aware of what was going on with the election. i didnt hear anyones arguments or anything, my vote wouldve probably made a difference, but it wouldnt have made a difference to me if i didnt know what i was voting for and if i was voting for the right or wrong thing. So it wouldve been senseless for me to vote this year. but i will certainly register to vote very soon.

The website that i find reliable would have to be dictionary.com. thats because its basically like a dictionary that you can hold in your hand. it all has the same information in it and online. The website that i find less reliable would have to be Wikipedia.com and the reason for that would be is because on wikipedia people can go and edit some of the information thats on it giving you false information. so i would say that wikipedia is the less reliable source to get information from.

Journal entry #3

Coming in to the mid-term i feel a little unprepared in some of my subjects. This semester i an taking just math and english and math isnt one of my strongest points just as well as writing is really my strongest point either. I am struggling in math trying to understand it, i can understand it at one time and then when it comes to the test i blank out. I forget how each problem is solved. So now im worried about the next two weeks am i going to forget the material that i learn last week and the week before that and am i going to understand the new material for the mid-term. As of right now i am on top of my work , i might have missed one assignment in math but im catching up. In english i am on top of my work in english, i have handed in all my essays and other work. I just hope i am prepared for the mid-term.

The things that really frustrate me about the college life so far would have to be getting the books for you classes and making sure they are the right books. Besides the very long lines at the book store, they tend to give the students the wrong book or books we dont even need. They also sometimes they don't have the books we need which means we would have to come back another day and stand in the long line once again. Another thing that bothers me in the tranportation, that my only really big problem because all of my classes are on the west campus and the bus only drops and picks you up on the east campus, and my books are really heavy so i would have to walk across the parkinglot with all of my books just to get to the bus. But i guess im going to have to get over it and get used to it because this is how its going to be until i graduate or atleast get my own car.
